**Employee Spotlight: Meet Jamie**

Jamie is a Library Assistant II in the Youth Services department at the South Mainland Public Library, part of the Brevard County Public Libraries. Originally from DeLand, she has loved reading from a young age and often visited her local library for events and activities.

Jamie earned her Master's in English Education from the University of Florida and spent ten years teaching. Afterward, she worked as a library assistant for Volusia County Public Libraries. Recently, she moved to Brevard County to get married and is thrilled to be back in a library setting.

In her spare time, Jamie enjoys going to the beach, relaxing at home, and discovering her new city.
