Fox Road Elementary Marks Vitiligo Awareness in Purple

Wake County Public Schools said that last week, students and staff at Fox Road Elementary were invited to wear purple in recognition of Vitiligo Awareness and Education Month.

The district said 3rd grade teacher Mark Braxton is one of the co-leaders for the North Carolina Vitiligo Support Community. It said Braxton strives to bring vitiligo education to the local community to spread understanding, inclusion, and belonging.
