It also advises giving the telecommunicator your name, phone number and the address where help is needed, and to answer the call-taker’s questions and stay on the line until the telecommunicator tells you it’s OK to hang up.
When calling 911, the reminders include staying as calm as possible, answering the questions being asked, knowing your location, and not hanging up.
